Good SEO is how you will get free organic traffic to your website. It can be because you have written a post with SEO in mind, or it can come from totally natural search engine results. Either way, the name of the game is traffic.
The better you do your SEO, the higher your website will be found in the search engine results page. The better position your post or page has in SERP, the more people will visit your website, and in turn, that will most likely give you a higher income from more sales and ad clicks, if you have ads on your site.

As it comes to common SEO mistakes there are some that many new users of SEO often do. Some seem very obvious, but others are of a nature that if you don’t learn it, you will never understand it is a mistake. Let’s look at a few of them.
- Writing Duplicate Content – If there is one big NO, NO in this business, writing duplicate content might be one of the biggest of them all. As soon as Google realize that you are copying someone else’s work, you will never ever be found in the SERP’s what so ever. Not all understand it in the beginning, but we should all know not to copy/paste other content.
- Outdated/Old Content – Having old content that is not valid anymore will not make your website look like an Authority Site. Loosing your authority will not look good in the search engine results. Google won’t give you much love that way 😉
- Slow Running Website – Having a site that runs extremely slow will only get your visitors to run away. You can check your speed with PageSpeeds Insights. Make sure your pictures and videos don’t slow your site down.
- Broken Links – If there is one thing you should ALWAYS be on top of, it has to be that all your links work. Very often your links is what making you money, and if it’s like that on your site, you better make sure they are all working properly.
- No Indexed Pages – For google and other search engines to find your website, you will have to make sure that they are indexed in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. No index, no visitors and no visitors, no money…
To make no SEO mistakes will be almost impossible when you first start out. You can find many more mistakes if you really look for it, and it will be too many to list here. But as you see above, they can easily be done, and most often, they can easily be fixed too.

Before you start to write anything at all you, you have already done all your research about what keywords to use, what the competition look like and all other research you need to do. Only when you have completed that, can you start to write.
When you start to write, you most likely will use your keyword in your title and in your content. But good SEO does not mean to fill up your content with tons of keywords. Make sure your keyword is in it, but write your content without thinking about it. It is much more important for the search engines that your content is good. All you need is a couple of keywords and that’s it. Everything else should be all about your content.
You had work to do before you started to write when you did your research. The campaign is not done as soon as you are done writing. After the writing is done, you need to remember alt tags in pictures, meta title, tag and description. Make sure your links are working and give your post a good overhaul before you can say your campaign is done.
Can SEO Be Self Taught?
Can you teach yourself SEO without becoming a member of any Affiliate Program or other places teaching it? Yes you can teach yourself SEO if you are a very good study and probably have some computer background from before, If you are a total beginner and want to learn how to do marketing with your blog and you don’t know anything at all, then I will really doubt your possibilities. Of course, you could manage to find all the information and understand it as soon as you read it, but I really do doubt it.
If you are a beginner and want to learn it all, my recommendation would be to pay a little amount to a place where you can get help with the learning. Learning SEO by yourself will be difficult and probably not much fun at all. But never say never, some people make it alone, but most people won’t.
By now, you should have a little more understanding about What An SEO Campaign Is. As you can see from above it is a pretty big field, and I have barely scratched the surface with this little article. The world of SEO is big and some people find it more difficult than others, but a normal person will be able to learn it without too much trouble.
Again, an online school of some sort is what I would recommend for you to try out if you want to learn SEO. It is difficult enough as it is, so I urge you to get some help with it, if possible. I find it pretty fascinating that we can use SEO to get better results in the SERP’s and that way make more money. That way also makes it a bit more fun. You can do one thing and see if it works or not, and then change whatever doesn’t work, and take it from there. I find it rather fascinating.
My conclusion is that SEO looks more difficult and scary than what it really is. So if you really want to learn, just jump in and go for it!
